Born out of one of the most culture-heavy places in Mexico.
Raicilla Country, in the western part of Jalisco. This is the land of Mariachi, deep-rooted traditions like Charreria, ballet folklórico, horse and bull riding, and of course, the distilling and manufacturing of Raicilla
Prohibited by the Spaniards
Raicilla has been made in this region of Jalisco for centuries since colonial times. Prohibited by the Spaniards during the colony, it remained the spirit preferred by the locals.
Somehow, this gem is found only in this region, known to locals and enjoyed by only those who visit the region or the most daring of Agave spirit connoisseurs.
